CHALLENGE

To showcase the issues of food insecurity through a short film. 

SOLUTION

We created high production value on a low budget of $6000. Created merchandise to expand the awareness of the film. Applied a targeted, curated festival strategy to create the right awareness.

IMPACT

The film received a 50% festival acceptance rate. We partnered with the NAACP for a special screening and received an offer of fiscal sponsorship for the feature film. Received 3 awards, including best social justice film. The director is now a Social Justice Film Juror for the Charlotte Film Festival.
